Remarkable Jobs are delighted to be working with a global, food standards organisation who deliver assurance solutions across critical touchpoints. They focus on the bio-science, food, environmental, sustainability and ethical industries.

They are recruiting a ‘Standards Manager – Ethical Trade’ to lead, identify, provide, and manage all technical aspects ensuring all stakeholder requirements are met. The ‘Standards Manager’ will be responsible for improving and promoting recognition of their standards, products and services.

‘Standards Manager – Ethical Trade’ Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing the main technical standards to ensure requirements are met and relevant to the industry.
  • Assisting the compliance team with technical issues on recalls, assessing the delivery partners, and handling complaints and audits.
  • Project manage the standard development processes to ensure various internal teams are aware of their key deliverables/timelines.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with various stakeholders – including delivery partners, brands, and trade associations members.
  • Keeping updated with changing sector trends, products safety controls and improvements.
  • Develop guidelines and technical support materials for users of the standard.
  • Able to enhance performance by developing training materials and procedures for sites.
  • Support and develop other related standards and other assigned products.

‘Standards Manager – Ethical Trade’ Key Skills and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in relevant product related sector.
  • 5 years’ experience in Ethical, Sustainability and Packaging.
  • 5 years’ experience with consumer products
  • Practical experience of food safety standards.
  • Able to accelerate a group of technical experienced to maintain global standards.
  • Excellent communicator skills, specifically with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of various product safety controls.
  • Able to demonstrate project management skills and managed multiple projects at one time.
  • Happy working within cross functional teams.
