The ideal candidate will have a strong technical knowledge with the following sectors – Food Manufacturing, Retailing and Supply Chain. Specific experience in certification body operations would be an asset

‘Technical Food Director – Standards’ – Key Responsibilities:

• Day to day management for a team of Technical Managers, who are responsible for the Certification Standards – ensuring that they continue to be market leading.
• Act as a Technical lead – you will be the go-to source for technical information.
• Working with regional staff and representatives to ensure market needs are understood and reflected in technical products delivered
• Gain market intelligence to fully understand potential to optimize growth through partner channels
• Ensure business development and marketing have full support and engagement to drive business
• Ensure new products, versions, and other technical products are delivered on time and budget

‘Technical Food Director – Standards’ – Key Skills:

• Technical knowledge of Certification Standards, the client’s products, and services.
• Competent Technical Project Manager
• Excellent staff management and coordination
• Experience in the certification business environment
• Experience within technical, food and consumer products businesses
• The ability to work autonomously, while contributing to a strong team environment
