Salary: £50k – £65k – depending on ex + excellent benefits!

Location: Office & Site Based – London

Remarkable Jobs are currently working with a leading organisation, that offer a range of services in the construction industry. The ideal candidate for this position, will have experience in as a Quantity Surveyor working on commercial and retail construction projects.

This ‘Senior Quantity Surveyor’ position will be responsible for the commercial management and administration of work and tasks on their projects. The ‘Senior Quantity Surveyor’ will also be responsible for optimising the profitability for the Company through its projects and the commercial management of all pre-contract works.

‘Senior Quantity Surveyor’ Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure that projects are completed on time, to a high quality and optimise profitability.
• Implement the project requirements, strategy, and the placement orders.
• Prepare budgets and site objectives inline with site management team.
• Monitor all cost expenditure and implement cost control measures.
• Complete financial reporting, including cash forecasting, end of line results and ensure it is completed to company requirements.
• Obtain a full understanding of contract documents and tender for subcontractors, and ensure all subcontractors are prepared and sign off.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications needed for this ‘Quantity Surveyor’:

• HNC, HND or Degree educated in Quantity Surveying.
• MCIOB or MRICS qualification or equivalent experience.
• Possess good knowledge of JCT, NEC and ECC contracts.
• Have an understanding of best procurement practices and forms of main and subcontract.
• Experience of cost and value process and reporting.
• Strong leadership and teamworking qualities.
