Remarkable Jobs are recruiting for a CAD Technician to join a busy engineering team working on a variety of technical and infrastructure-related projects.
This role would suit a detail-oriented CAD professional with experience using AutoCAD or MicroStation who is looking to further develop their technical drawing skills within an engineering environment.
CAD Technician Role:
As a CAD Technician, you will support the production and modification of technical drawings across a range of engineering projects. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate, high-quality drawings are produced in line with project and company standards.
The role offers exposure to varied engineering projects alongside ongoing technical development opportunities.
CAD Technician Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation and modification of CAD drawings.
- Support engineering teams with technical drawing updates and revisions.
- Ensure drawings comply with internal CAD standards and project requirements.
- Assist with project administration and document management tasks.
- Issue drawings and technical documentation where required.
- Work with AutoCAD, MicroStation, and related software packages.
- Support multiple live engineering projects across the business.
What They Are Looking For:
Essential:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong IT and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Desirable:
- AutoCAD Civil 3D experience would be advantageous.
- Engineering, CAD, Construction, or Technical qualification/background.
- Previous experience working within an engineering or infrastructure environment.
