As a Senior IT Network Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in providing robust IT Network support with a primary focus on network infrastructure. You’ll lead the design and implementation of complex network architectures, develop strategies to optimise network performance, and collaborate with the IT team to implement advanced security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of complex network architectures.
- Develop strategies to optimise network performance and scalability.
- Configure and maintain VLANs and oversee Ubiquity and Cambium networking equipment.
- Lead the configuration and maintenance of Fortigate firewalls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve advanced issues related to CCTV systems.
- Implement innovative solutions to enhance network efficiency and security.
- Document complex network configurations and changes.
Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience in configuring VLANs and managing complex network architectures.
- Proficiency in working with advanced Ubiquity and Cambium networking equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of Net 2 systems and Fortigate firewalls.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex networking issues.
