Role Overview:
As a Warehouse Equipment Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment logistics. From managing inventory and coordinating with departments to ensuring timely and accurate dispatch, you will contribute significantly to delivering excellent service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate equipment across departments, ensuring items are checked out to the correct job before loading.
- Liaise with internal teams, account managers, and customers to meet requirements accurately and on time.
- Organise vehicle schedules and oversee safe and efficient loading processes.
- Maintain accurate job files, including master pull lists and delivery paperwork.
- Monitor and report on job progress, addressing shortages and changes promptly.
- Perform quality control checks, ensuring all equipment is properly packaged, labelled, and accounted for.
- Manage sub-hires and ensure all items are scanned and documented correctly.
- Support the team during high workloads, weekends, or unforeseen circumstances.
About You:
- IT literate with a strong grasp of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to learn stock control systems, such as Rental Tracker Pro.
- Strong communicator, confident in liaising with internal and external clients.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours when required.
- Experience in the lighting or equipment industry and with stock control systems is an advantage but not essential.
