Salary: Circa £30,000 – £35,000 (Dependent on Experience) + circa £3.5k bonus

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (including evenings and weekends as required)

We are seeking a Venue Manager to join their team near Milton Keynes, Bucks. This is a hands-on role that involves overseeing the full operational and administrative management of ‘soft services’ in the venue, ensuring high-quality service delivery and maintaining strong client relationships.

Venue Manager Role:

As a Services Venue Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and day-to-day management of all venue operations. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, oversee compliance and risk management, and lead a team to deliver excellent service standards.

Venue Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient management of venue operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running.
  • Plan, schedule, and manage events, ensuring all logistical requirements are met for the soft services that your team are responsible for.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with venue representatives and stakeholders.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance to ensure high service standards.
  • Ensure all administrative reporting, compliance, and risk management requirements are met.
  • Oversee stock control of Services venue supplies.
  • Implement and maintain safe working practices, ensuring health & safety compliance.
  • Provide regular reports and performance reviews to senior management and clients.

What They Are Looking For:

Essential:

  • Previous experience in venue, facilities, or event management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent client relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organisational and resource management skills.
  • Strong financial and budget management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable:

Experience in event operations or contract management.

Relevant qualifications in facilities management or a related field.
