We are seeking a Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join their compassionate and professional team. This is a hands-on, permanent role requiring someone with a strong work ethic, a caring disposition, and a passion for elderly care.
Registered General Nurse (RGN) Role:
As a Registered General Nurse (RGN), you will play a key role in providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their individual needs, wishes, and aspirations are met. You will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to personalise care plans, maintain accurate records, and promote a safe and supportive environment.
Registered General Nurse (RGN) Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to elderly residents
- Monitor, assess, and record residents’ symptoms and changes in conditions
- Maintain accurate reports and medical records
- Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for all residents
- Be a role model for staff and promote a positive, team-oriented workplace
What They Are Looking For:
Essential:
- NMC Pin Holder with at least 6 months post-qualification experience or a recent graduate
- Previous experience in a similar adult care environment
- Passionate about working with the elderly and committed to delivering outstanding care
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and able to commute or relocate to GL54, Nr Bourton-on-the-Water (own transport required)
Desirable:
- Previous experience in elderly care or a care home setting
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
