Regional Account Manager DACH

Location: Home-based – DACH

Reporting to: Commercial Director EMEA

Travel Requirements: Up to 60% (domestic and international)

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or evening work

Position Summary: We are looking for a dynamic Regional Account Manager to take a key market-facing role in the DACH region. You will be responsible for selling life science products and services across key market segments such as Human Healthcare, Clinical, and Pharma. The role involves pipeline management, client discovery, strategic selling, and direct sales. A collaborative approach is essential as you will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including product management and customer service teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Pipeline Management:

      Build and manage a pipeline of prospects, aligning marketing strategies and lead generation efforts to secure future business goals.

Direct Sales: Lead the strategic sales process from discovery to closing, targeting various organizational levels and managing client expectations.

Strategic Selling: Identify clients’ business needs and offer tailored solutions to address scientific and operational challenges.

Client Management: Develop and nurture key account relationships, with accountability for revenue generation and long-term opportunities.

Industry and Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and product developments to position solutions effectively.

Business Development: Support the identification of new business opportunities and market expansions.

Minimum Qualifications:

      Bachelor’s degree in Biological or Life Sciences, Business Management, or related fields.

2+ years of proven sales success within the life sciences industry.

Experience managing complex sales processes and large account management.

Fluency in German (required) and strong proficiency in English.

Excellent communication skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Ability to travel up to 60%.

Preferred Qualifications:

      Strong knowledge in life science products, particularly in nucleic acid extraction, PCR, qPCR, and NGS workflows.

Experience selling into regulated markets (e.g., diagnostic kit manufacturers).

Experience with CRM tools, especially Salesforce.
