Salary: £28,000 – £31,000 + Monthly Bonus (OTE £3,600 per year)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (flexible shifts, including weekends)

We are seeking a Parking Operative Manager to join their Southern team. This is a hands-on, multi-site leadership role, requiring someone highly organised, people-focused, and confident managing operational performance in a fast-paced environment.


Parking Operative Manager Role:

As a Parking Operative Manager, you will take full responsibility for operational delivery across multiple sites. You will lead Supervisors and Operatives, ensuring full site coverage, strong performance, and a consistent, high-quality service.

This role is pivotal in driving workforce stability, improving performance, and maintaining compliance across your area.


Parking Operative Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations across multiple parking sites, ensuring full coverage and service delivery
  • Oversee Supervisors and Operatives, providing direction, coaching, and real-time support
  • Manage staffing levels, proactively addressing absences, vacancies, and rota planning
  • Conduct site visits, audits, and new site mobilisations
  • Lead performance reviews, probation assessments, and ongoing coaching
  • Drive staff retention through structured onboarding, training, and engagement
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, operational standards, and contractual requirements
  • Manage incidents, reporting, and escalation processes
  • Oversee workforce planning, administration, and performance reporting
  • Maintain strong communication with internal teams and senior leadership
  • Provide out-of-hours support where required

What They Are Looking For:

Essential:

  • Previous experience within parking operations or a similar frontline, multi-site environment
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams across multiple locations
  • Strong communication skills with a firm but supportive management style
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to changing operational demands
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
  • Clear DBS check

Desirable:

  • Experience in an Area Manager, Supervisor, or multi-site leadership role
  • Strong IT skills and experience using workforce or scheduling systems
  • Experience managing incidents or conflict resolution
  • Ability to coach and develop team members
