Our client are the leading provider of film and TV equipment rentals into the production industry. As the Head of Lighting for our clients Wales region, you will be responsible for developing new business and servicing customers’ needs with Company rental inventory. With a good knowledge of Film and TV lighting equipment, you will develop and manage commercial relationships to reply to sales enquiries utilising equipment meeting customer needs.

With a high level of product knowledge and drive for excellent customer service and will oversee a local warehouse operation, responsible for ensuring execution of daily duties including equipment stock management, preparation, testing, as well as the logistics for delivery and return.

‘Head of Lighting’ Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong commercial relationships with clients.
  • Respond to sales inquiries promptly, providing tailored solutions using our extensive rental inventory.
  • Lead a local warehouse team responsible for equipment stock management, preparation, testing, and logistics
  • Ensure smooth execution of daily duties, including delivery and return processes.
  • Be the regional point of contact for all customers and productions.
  • Uphold high levels of customer service, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Identify sales opportunities and prepare accurate quotations.
  • Manage equipment preparation and delivery in alignment with company standards.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound equipment transactions.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and processes.
  • Manage warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.

‘Head of Lighting’ Key Skills:

  • Proven track record in a commercial management position.
  • Strong knowledge of the entertainment, film, and TV industry.
  • Understanding of warehouse procedures and best practices.
  • Experience with Rental Inventory Management systems, PAT testing, and CRM applications.
