Remarkable Jobs have partnered with a leading construction company, to support the recruitment of an epxerineced ‘Commercial Manager’.

This ‘Commercial Manager’ position will be responsible for ensuring that all commercial aspects of our clients’ project are managed correctly and controlled. The ‘Commercial Manager’ will also be responsible for developing and delivering a commercial strategy that is in line with the requirements of the business.

‘Commercial Manager’ Main Responsibilities:

• To manage all commercial aspects of the projects and identify and manage risks and opportunities.
• Ensuring that best commercial practices and identified, implemented and followed within the business.
• Management of contract notifications, including early warning notices, extension of time claims, compensation variations, etc.
• Complete business management key tasks including cash collection, preparing budgets, cost expenditure and financial reporting.
• Ensure the administration, commercial management and payment processes are completed.
• Identify and recommend training opportunities for commercial staff.

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications for this ‘Commercial Manager’ role:

• HNC, HND or Degree educated in Quantity Surveying.
• MCIOB or MRICS qualification or equivalent experience.
• Must have working knowledge of JCT, NEC and ECC contracts.
• Excellent understanding of best procurement practices and forms of main and subcontract.
• Strong experience of cost and value process and reporting.
• Excellent leadership and teamworking qualities.
