Location: Bracknell, Berkshire

Salary: £25k – £30k (DOE) + Outstanding Benefits (including pension, private health insurance, private GP)

Shifts: 7am -3pm or 2pm – 10pm, 1 weekend required every other weekend.

My client provides both Live-In care and Domiciliary Care Services. As the team continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and compassionate Team Leader to join the team.

We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader to oversee and manage a team of dedicated care professionals. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care services to clients, while also providing leadership, guidance, and support to our care staff.

Care Team Lead Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of care workers, providing guidance and direction as needed.
  • Coordinate and allocate care assignments based on client needs and staff availability.
  • Conduct regular assessments of client care needs and review care plans accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards at all times.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of care staff.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients and their families, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of client care, including progress notes and incident reports.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture, promoting collaboration, respect, and empathy among team members.

Care Team Lead Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a domiciliary care setting, with proven leadership and supervisory skills.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or 1 year domiciliary experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and staff.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations governing domiciliary care services.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care delivery.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle for travel between client locations.
